I’m the type of person who accidentally falls asleep to an episode of a TV show. At some point recently Plex decided that all people watch three episodes of TV in one sitting so now when I wake up I have to see what other episodes I “watched” in my sleep.
Why oh why was a “feature” implemented without consent or an option to disable? Am I just dense and not seeing it in the settings?
Where is it auto-playing? I just verified in Plex/Web it stops at the end of the episode. Did you tell it to play the entire season by accident?
I think iOS devices autoplay. I don’t know about others.
Plex web and Roku 4. I’m not doing anything different but hitting an episode On Deck like I always have.
I just had a look on my roku 4. And there is no obvious place to turn it off.
What looks new is when you pause a show it shows the next and previous show !!
( shield has an option to not automatically play the next )
You can turn of Post Play Auto Play in the Plex settings in the Roku. Click your username, settings and disable auto play.
