Hi all, I live in China, and ISP in my city would check any web page service on the WAN side. So I want to enable pms remote access to the internet while the web page of pms is disabled or unable to be accessd from the WAN side.
Anyone has some idea how to achieve this? Any help would be appreciated.
All I can think of is a proxy in front of your PMS, that blocks access to /web, but allow anything else to pass, since a plex client use http(s) to stream
I see. So you think basically it’s impossible to configure such things from the pms itself. I have to use tools like Nginx to tell web browsers and clients apart to make that work, right?
