I disabled remote access of my NAS, however via the web app (app.plex.tv) all my content on the NAS is visible

so I would like to hide all my content from the outside of my home-network, I disabled remote access in the setup, but still via the internet with a login to app.plex.tv I can see all my content as I would see if I stay at home and open it via the Synology NAS with local IP address typed into the URL of the browser.

Disable Plex Relay in Settings -> Network.

With both Remote Access and Plex Relay disabled, your Plex server will not be reachable from the Internet.

thank!

I changed the setting (meaning disabled what you proposed) but still everything is accessible via the public web.
or maybe there is some hours to be effective? (didn’t found any articles regarding any time lag)

thanks

If you previously setup port forwarding, that would still give access if you used your public IP address.

Please note that using the host Web client does not mean it’s connecting to your server remotely. It just loads the app remotely, but the connection is still made locally to your server.
