How do I fix the incorrect name for an Actor?
Tried “Fix Match” in the series, but the only available Agent is “Plex TV Series” - didn’t work.
Is there anything in the server settings I am missing?
You can’t do that within Plex.
You will have to find where the actor information originated from.
There are 3 possibilities: IMDb.com, TheMovieDB.org, and TheTVDB.com
Look up the series in each of these, then send a correction to them.
Once the info has been corrected over there, it can take up to 7 days until the change arrives on Plex’s own metadata server.
A subsequent Refresh Metadata should update the info on your Plex server.
That’s actually his real name.
TMDB and TVDB both have this in the description but display Martin Sheen

Martin Sheen is displayed in my library. I have Plex TV Series for agent and scanner with TVDB as the show order
This is why Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez are brothers but have different names

Looks like I learned a lot here today.
Checked all 3 sites and only TheMovieDB even mentions his real name.
I set my library agent to TVDB and now everything is showing as expected.

Switching to the old, deprecated agent just for the above reason is the wrong decision.
