How to fix: Movie names changing from french to english after optimization

A lot of the movies that I record using Plex DVR are in french, and the original file name is accordingly in french. But when I optimize those files, they always get renamed to the english version, both in the meta-data and the file itself.

I’m not sure what settings I should be changing but whatever I tried so far did not resolve this issue.

Update: files gets renamed before the optimization job… Just saw a movie in the Conversion queue appear in english, while it was actually recorded in french.

Edit the library. There is a language selector which determines how the metadata get downloaded.
However, they will only get downloaded in French if they exist in this language either on TheTVDB or TheMovieDatabase (depending on which is selected in the properties of the library.)

I’ve tried this, unfortunately I’m recording shows/movies both in english and french, so the renaming issue goes both ways. Is there a way to disable the renaming?
