So I have some channels that work on both my ATV 3 and PC and then I have others that don’t any reasons why? I made sure that the channels that I added were from my region.
Your best bet is to ask questions about specific Channels in the Plex Channels forum. At this point the majority of Channels work with Plexconnect and when they don’t it is usually a Channel issue, as most need to be continually updated.
Um ok so I have been trying to get youtube to work all I get are folders and nothing in them and the History channel i’snt working, and Show case. When I set my region to Canada the History channel was in the list as well as the Canadian version. I Installed the other one and not the Canadian one would that be my reason for it not to work?
You cannot access content from a plugin that requires you to be in a specific region if you are not located in that region. Unless, of course, you use a DNS service like Unotelly or Unblockus to spoof/hide where you are.
But again, Channel questions should be asked in the Channel forum.

I also believe you can change your iTunes location to USA within the aTV settings app to get the native youtube channel but again not sure if that would work outside the USA still as @institute11 said.
