Hello, I have a lot of added movie on Plex (from a Synology NAS), and I would love to hide the watched movies as they keep on being there and I cannot keep on with the one I still want to watch.
I looked online but couldn’t find any new article about this.
Any ideas? Or maybe a future setting to do so?

There’s a topic about that from 2010
and it seems they still don’t have this feature, at least I couldn’t find it.
An alternative is to create a playlist like the one bellow ordered by Date added and filtered by watching status:

Unfortunately, you cannot add this playlist to your home screen
Disable:
“Empty trash after every scan”
Server/Settings/Library.
If enabled, that setting will dump all the items from the database that aren’t there - when your storage is sleeping during maintenance. Any items added back to the database - are brand new.
Also - Recently Added is way different from Continue Watching, but if you have 200 items in Continue Watching - you’ll never see any more than 3 on the home page.
If you go to the Library - Recommended Tab - you will find Continue Watching and it may show all of them - I can’t recall. Check it out.
On Deck is ONLY for TV Shows.
Continue Watching is - a giant crazy pill - 'cause it shows both Shows and Movies, basically making it useless for Movies.
UNLESS…:
You have a Roku UNO app.
You can chose to ONLY show Movies in Continue Watching - and NO SHOWS - since they’re already shown in progress in On Deck - that’s directly below Continue Watching.
It is - what it is.
Woow indeed… The thing is that I set up different libraries by genre
I will try to disable the trash, but we don’t have lots of continue watching, just 2, t be honest.
I really mean fully watched movies!
I don’t get why you guys do that
. If you create one single Movie library, you still can filter genre

A new item is new - even if it’s watched.
The trick is to stop getting new movies added every night after maintenance.
Don’t sleep your storage - or disable Empty trash automatically.
