How to import video description from local text file?

I have hundreds of .mp4 video files, and for each I have a content / plot description in a separate .txt file with the same name.
Now my question is, how can I import these into plex easily? Any ideas?

Unfortunately, you can’t.
If you find a way to take the text from the files and embed them as “PODCASTDESC” (ldes) tag directly into the mp4 file, Plex can read them from there.
