Pardon if this has been covered elsewhere but I’ve used search ad can’t find any working instructions.
I have a working install of BerryBoot and RetroPie on my Pi2 and I’d love to get RasPlex up and running before I expand the filesystem for RetroPie to store more roms with.
How do I get these 2 guys working together nicely? All I can find is a “clean/wipe” install for RasPlex.
@darinsz7:
I’m not very familiar with RetroPie, but I am rather familiar with BerryBoot, as I have it running dozens of different OS from a USB HDD. These installed OS include many test versions of RasPlex as well as three unrelated Linux distros and some other stuff such as a few Kodi installs and even PMP (Plex Media Player).
My experience is that it’s never been necessary to explicitly expand the filesystem area for any specific OS, as the BerryBoot filesystem drivers will handle this automatically. All OS installed under BerryBoot should see the entire free area (as seen by BerryBoot itself) of the SDcard or USBdrive as available for storage, though the BerryBoot drivers ensure that each of these OS uses a separate ‘root’ structure for its storage.
