rasplex and retropie

Hey, I would like to dual boot Rasplex and Retropie but the newest build i can find is
https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=78&t=120700&p=986086&hilit=rasplex+and+retropie#p986086
and both the versions of Rasplex and Retropie are out of date.

I have Resplex up and running and before blowing that away and trying to get the dual boot to work i was wondering if anyone knows if Rasplex and Retropie will update to the latest versions once they are both setup or are their any newer builds out there.

Thanks

I’m not sure of other multi boot methods, but any one based on n00bs aka berryboot is going to be buggy. The base firmware and linux kernel are out of date.

See @NedtheNerd 's comments in this thread and the subsequent berryboot thread

I’ve been successfully running Rasplex and Retropie dual boot on Noobs for months now.
It’s a bit of work to set it up, but it works well.
Here is a link to get you started github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/convert-retropie-sd-card-image-to-noobs-image
The procedure described above has to be followed for the rasplex image too, with some minor differencies.

In the spirit of full disclosure, I have not done this, but this site claims it is a method for installing RetroPie on top of an existing Rasbian install, rather than replacing Rasbian.
