Hi guys, I’ve had a atv3 for a while and plex for a while and I’ve only just realised I can have plex on my atv3, but how? Thanks
If you are using OS X you can use the optional installer OpenPlex.
You don’t “install” PlexConnect on an aTV3 but instead hijack an app on the aTV3 to redirect your aTV3 to the PlexConnect host by installing a cert on your aTV3 and pointing the aTV3 DNS to your PlexConnect host that allows access to your PMS (Plex Media Server) host. Both usually use the same host (PlexConnect & PMS) but can be on separate hosts if desired/required.

@saint1970 please note that PlexConnect (the Plex client for ATV3) is not installed on the ATV3 itself. It is installed on another computer (the one used for PMS, another one, a NAS, or even on some routers) and the ATV3 needs a certain setup to use PlexConnect.
OS X is an operating system from Apple. The install guide referred by @wahlman.j contains installation instructions for several operating systems. It may be too technical for newbies. Some platforms (Apple OS X, Synology NAS) have installers that remove the complexities of the normal installation process.
