How to Link Parsec Account to Plex Arcade

I got an email confirmation of my activation of my subscription to Plex Arcade a few hours ago. At the time I did not have a Parsec account so I could not link to Plex Arcade. I now have a Parsec account but have no idea how to link it to Plex Arcade. (I did use PayPal as the subscription payment method.) Please advise and I’m stuck about this link…or finding a link to the LINK. Thanks! Snazz123

Pro tip b/c I’m still salty after getting beaten up by this myself. Once you create your Parsec account be sure to reply to their email confirmation. If you don’t you’ll see an error 100 in Plex clients when attempting playback.

Hi, what exactly does linking to parsec do? I saw the notice to host the gaming but wanted to make sure if this is required to play from any PC, Android, etc. I would prefer to just launch my plex library from another pc and play.

Plex server software runs the emulation core to generate audio and video. Parsec is then used to send the audio and video to the Plex player apps and pass the user input back into the Plex server software running the emulation core.

I have a Nimbus wireless controller that I use with Apple Arcade. Would you happen to know how, through Parsec or Plex Arcade how (or if) I can map things so it will recognize the Nimbus? Or do I need a more traditional joystick? Thanks again, Snazz123

You cannot manually map the buttons. The controller either just work or don’t.

Thanks for letting me know about the lack of mapping. I’m at a loss as to why my Bluetooth Nimbus Controller - which AppleTV recognizes and works with Apple Arcade - cannot work directly with Parsec linked to Plex Arcade account. I have written to SteelSeries maker of Nimbus controllers to see if they have any thoughts. When I start a Plex Arcade game with my AppleTV remote I then turn on my Nimbus controller but no matter what I press on the Nimbus the Plex Arcade does not respond. Thanks. Snazz123.

I can not link my new parsec account. I stops with a Death “Approve” button

Also unable to approve the link on my Parsec account, tried different browsers and pcs

Regarding the “approve” button failures, you have to find the email from Parsec and confirm your email address. Once you’ve confirmed your email address, the approve button will work. I know because I looked at it dumbfounded for several minutes.
