How to maintain custom metadata when moving content between libraries?

Hi,
I have a decent amount of content that has manually entered metadata. They are mainly training videos that into which I have manually entered the titles and descriptions. Now I need to migrate the data onto another drive/folder, and my question is that can I somehow maintain the custom data so I don’t need to enter all that again?

Moving between libraries - no way.

Moving between drives - maybe.
Follow this guide. Make sure you have a backup of your Plex database file.
