Installed Plex media server using an account then deleted the account. I created a new one, but I can’t make it admin of the server. How do I change my new account to be admin of the server?
Not possible. Exactly one admin account per PMS.
Plex Home managed users cannot become admin - however a Plex.tv account can.
If the server settings still have links to a Plex.tv account then only that account can relinquish admin rights by signing the server out in settings / server / general
If the links are still in place but the account has been deleted then only way to regain control of the server is to delete the settings components that relate to the old account. See this support article for advice on how to do that
