How to move plex media server to new PC - SOLVED

I searched on the Internet for instructions and these indicate to use settings backup as the first step in moving plex media server to a new machine.
I don’t see a “backup” function - I see in settings where it is backed up every 3 days to /var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Databases … but is this the ONLY thing that needs to be backed up?

In short, I am looking for a step-by-step process for moving the linux plex media server from one machine to another.
I see plenty of closed posts asking help about this, but I could not find a “how to” document about this searching the KB.

Update: another search of KB and I have found some how-tos. I will post here once I have successfully migrated.
