How to NOT ignore articles when sorting (e.g. "the")?

On the Plex Web App, for both Movies and TV Shows, the items are sorted ignoring the “THE” article. As such, a movie like “The Maze Runner”, will be sorted under “M”. I don’t like this behavior, is it possible to configure this somehow?

I’ve found this tip in the documentation:

Tip!: By default, sorting strips out the definite article “The” (and the equivalent in several other languages). For example, “The Fifth Element” will be sorted as “Fifth Element” by default. If you’d prefer for it to be listed with the Ts rather than Fs, you can manually adjust the Sort Title.

This nice but it’s cumbersome to edit every single title I have and to be concerned with new added titles to keep it sorted like I prefer. It would be nice to have a global option for this…

Is this possible somehow? Or should I turn this into a feature request?

No, you cannot turn this off. I believe there is a request for this already.

Where can I find such requests? Do you mean feature requests here in the forum? I couldn’t find such request…

Most feature request are in the Plex Pass members section, but for non-Plex Pass members you can place one int he General section. Just add a “[Feature Request] …” to the title so it is clear what it is. The one I am thinking of might be in the PP section. If you don’t see one in General, go ahead and make a new one. If we find the previous request, we can always close your.

So, its been 3 long years, you guys could not implement this basic necessity of a feature? Wow.

Hello, flow. Thanks for the reply. I have followed the guide and created a string called ArticleStrings, but unfortunately no changes been observed.

Wait it is happening after I refreshed metadata
