How to only allow select movies and tv shows to be seen by each user?

I have Plex Pass.

The only ways to limit videos is

  • restrict whole libraries
  • ratings (like R/G/PG13 etc) or labels

You can apply tags to the specific media (films, series) you want to share, then in the Users and Sharing settings, update the user restrictions so they can only see media with those tags. Depending on the type of restrictions you need to apply, you can also try creating multiple libraries and only sharing specific ones with specific users. For example, I have a ‘Movies’ library and a ‘Kids’ Movies’ library and certain users only have access to certain ones.
