How to play downloaded files from the Recently added or Continue watching section

I have setup downloads for some shows, if a new episode comes out it is automatically downloaded and the icon on the home screen shows the download icon over the logo but if I play the episode it streams from the server.

Is there a way to play the downloaded file rather than streaming again? It is a pain in the butt to find stuff in the Download section

Unfortunately no. You have to play from the Download section.
