How To Question: Need to change the status of invited user for shared media..( incorrect "still pending" status.)

Hello,

Using most current version of Plex Media Server Version 1.18.2.2058 on windows 10 Pro OS.

I have an issue that I can not seem to resolve.

I invited a user via their email address to be able to access/share media from my plex media server.
They received the email and claimed that they didn’t get any reply to perform the link procedures. So i removed the share request and sent a new one. The user then claimed they got the invite and accepted and are now linked and able to view my media.

The issue is… that I think they actually accepted the ORIGINAL invite i sent… and not the new one ( that i cancelled before and then resent ). I believe this to be the case because i can see them able to access my shared media ( Tautulli Agent ) as well as access logs. But my server status for the invite still states “invite pending”.

Its almost a certainty that their invite token does not match the invite token for the new (second) invite.

I really don’t want to go through the hassle of removing access share and then re-sending another invite… it was a nightmare getting them to follow instructions the first time.

Is there any way to resolve the inconsistent server share / user invite status of “invite pending”, without actually going through the process over? ( some database or configuration setting i can alter?)

I’m a techie … so no procedure or concept would be foreign to me… any help appreciated… thank you for any replies.

As far as I can see it, you have no users invited at the moment.

I am having a very similar issue. Oddly, at one point I could see a user name and their email, but it still shows invite pending.

We are remotely testing on ios and web app, they can see the public “Movies & TV”, web shows, news, podcasts, and downloads and sync, but not my remote PMS (3 libraries shared) by name.

They provide me their password, so now I test on my iphone also. We did see the People icon, and my invite, and accepted it.

But I still see pending invite! Awaiting response on both user name and email name. Both have shared libraries , but I’ve told them to focus on just logging in with email name.

Resent invite, reshared libraries a couple of times now.

I am very good about always checking “remote access” as GREEN before I question if they checked again under MORE, but nothing below the Tidal
