How to re-add a friend previously deleted

I am a Plex-Pass subscriber and recently noticed an issue I am having. this has happened twice already. I have added/invited friends to share my media however:

  • delete that friend
  • to re-add the friend I send an invite to the same email of the friend
  • they cannot join and receive a message indicating “We couldn’t reach a media server”

This has happened twice to two different friends. Once I delete a friend, can I not re-add them?

try adding by username not plex name, i just tried removing and readding a friend. worked fine.
