How to remove "Recently Added" shows that were added a long time ago

Hi all, having an issue with Plex showing old shows in the “Recently Added TV” section. I was hoping over the last 6 or so months this would correct itself but it still shows some of the shows and its getting progressively worse.

The first show to do this was Reno 911 about 6 or so months ago which always shows up first on the list of recently added. Recently Scrubs and House have suddenly shown up and I haven’t watched either show in awhile so not sure what even triggered these to pop back up to the top.

I would have figured there would have been an option to just remove it from the list but apparently its not that easy and its controlled by some scanner? Is there an easy solution to this issue? I had read one topic that said to edit the XML files for the show but I’m not sure where these are located either. Appreciate any help I can get with this.

I have a similar issue, so I’m also interested in a solution.

Usually that means the database has a bad “added” date (ie in the future).

You might try the plex dance.

If that doesn’t work it will probably require direct dB editing.
