My friends shared server failed(all data was lost had to start again from 0) this was about 10 years ago. He built new server got all new. Since then i have had both his old and new server and for years i would randomy try to remove it and have not had any luck. The old server shows with spining wheell that just cycles and has error message to check connection and make sure server is on…it not on it was lost to the ether and the pc was dismanteled, crushed to bits in grinder at recylin plant. It will never connect agian but Plex wants it too…
I removed all devices connected to my server via web portal, it stays spinning
I removed the device from server and uninstalled all apps on my deviced. I removed all devices and asked friend to remove shared servers from his end. this only removed his new server and the old stayed taunting me
I have found no way or option to remove this server.
Today i found a post that mirrors my situation form TNowak89 and that a plex employee BigWheel who said they fixed and it was removed.
My main question can you do the same for me plex team?
secondary question can you give what step to follow to remove ourselves as that would help others…
thanks is advance for any help on this you can provide in killing the
