Server Version#: Version 1.29.0.6244
Player Version#: N/A
I have access to two of my friends servers. One of them he took offline permanently but it still shows in my side bar. I have tried a bunch of methods suggested online but I cannot find where his server is listed in order to leave / remove it.
Another suggestion on Reddit (from a year ago) was to go to Users & Sharing but I don’t see that section. I think that’s from an older version of the UI?
Generally you would click on the friend in the Plex Home or Manage Library access settings (like if you wanted to change their restrictions) then click edit on their server and then the leave server button.
Though it sounds like it may be a ghost server on their account which I can remove manually from their account if you don’t see it there,
Can’t even give feedback. Support just leads you to the FAQ, Forums, etc. No other department for giving feedback. As a Plex Pass subscriber I’d expect to have better channels that this. Plex seriously needs some competition.
Don’t take my comments personally BTW. They’re not directed at you specifically. I just don’t like it when companies that charge for subscriptions rely on farming the community for support for free and don’t give a direct support option.
I totally understand that having the Q&A out in the open like this helps make support issues and ultimately their answers visible to other customers, which is a good thing, but there should still be some kind of direct support channel for paying customers IMO… or at least a proper feedback mechanism straight to employees rather than relying on it maybe getting seen in an open forum.
