How to remove your account that somehow got associated with other user's plex

I’m not sure how this happened, but if anyone has any information on how to resolve, it would be greatly appreciated.

I have purchased a plex life time pass, which is associated with my account. Years ago, one of my friends had invited me access to their plex server. I’m not sure what happened but since accepting whenever I go to sign in, I see all of the users associated with their plex, while seeing their main admin account. When I sign into my plex account then go to manage library access I do not see anything related to their plex.

I have attached a screenshot, how the heck do I disassociate my account from their plex? For whatever reason you are unable to open technical support tickets with plex.

It appears they invited you to their Plex Home instead of just sharing with you.
As there can be only a single admin per home, you cannot have an own server assigned to you while being part of their home.

  1. Leave their home:

  2. Re-claim your server

Sure you can.

Thanks for clarifying… I suppose my response was based on ancient/outdated information.
