How to Resolve "Conflict"?

I have a couple scheduled recordings that appear to show a conflict, but I don’t understand why. There aren’t any other recordings around them, so why would they show the exclamation mark warning symbol?

When I click on the warning symbol, I don’t get any additional information about what Plex thinks the problem is. What can I do to fix this issue?

Since there doesn’t seem to be any conflicting shows scheduled my guess is that this was a previously missed recording auto rescheduled.

Maybe there is some indication of what happened in your logs?

What exactly should I look for in the logs? I downloaded the logs, but there are a lot of files in the zip file, and I’m not sure what I should look for exactly. Maybe in the Plex Tuner Service logs?

I have exact same issues as per-plex-ed and would love an answer. Unexplained future recording “conflicts”, yet you click on the exclamation point and Plex tells you nothing. No idea what Plex doesn’t like about the recording or how to fix it. Very frustrating.

As for what I was saying before, I’ll give you an example.

My main Plex Media Server is a Synology DS1815+. Its not the best suited for such a task but it can handle the recordings and play most file types that I have well enough. Recently I had an issue where the NAS became unresponsive. HDD lights were flashing rhythmically, power LED was solid and network LED was flashing. I couldn’t connect to the network shares, the DSM network interface or even using SSH / PuTTY.

I suspected that there might be a problem with one of the HDDs or it was thrashing through high CPU / high Volume usage due to some indexing, service or whatever. My instinct was to restart the NAS but I left it for about ~48 hours and it sorted itself out.

As soon as I regained access, I updated the DSM OS version and initiated a SMART test on all the HDD.

However, when the problem started I figured it wouldn’t record anything so I scheduled recordings on a secondary Plex Media Server.

When I checked the primary PMS scheduled recording list sure enough nothing was recorded for two days and everything that could be rescheduled was rescheduled with yellow explanation points.

I transferred over all the missing recordings to the primary PMS and scanned the TV shows library. When complete it was as if it never happened. All yellow explanation points were gone.
