Unless the outage was long enough for the battery to die, but again that was just the most common reason. Hard rebooting the PC can also cause similar behaviors, or as Chuck is referring to if they are on a network storage, or a dozen similar things could cause it.

Would you consider downgrading to 1.41.6 or 1.41.5 ?

I suggest this because:

  1. 1.41.7 has the DB bloat problem for guest users
  2. 1.41.8 introduced a bug which also exists in 1.41.9
  3. 1.41.9 has a new bug of its own which Iā€™m not crazy about.

Iā€™m suggesting 1.41.6 or .5 for stability sake. as long as youā€™re above 1.41.2, the new apps will work without issue (independent of app quirks unto themselves)

Iā€™m totally happy where I am on the current version, 9961. The DBRepair fixed the corruption and both of my servers are working fine and handling metadata correctly now.

Fair enough.

If the server corrupts again then something else (software or environmental) is afoot.
