Im looking to install plexamp on my raspberry pi 4 with a hifiberry DAC+ PRO.
what os should I select? (Ive now tried both Win10 - didnt work as plexamp dont tun on 32 bit) and lineageos (Andriod) where i struggle to make my touchscreen to work.
Would Raspberry Pi oS (debian 32-bit) be a better choice? and if so - is there a howto installation guide leading me to make this work?

There is no Plexamp for RasPi, except this older version: Plexamp for Raspberry Pi Release Notes
Ive installed plexamp on lineageOS (Android) with google play . it works but I havent found a solution on how to make my touchscreen work with it… Now Im looking to try another OS like linux… Thats for giving me this, I will try ))
Would be really interested also to have plexamp on rpi + dac+ / digi+ and able to remote it with my phone !!!
That’s exactly what the above linked version is doing. It doesn’t have an own user interface but requires remote control by another plex client.
Only possible with the next (yet unreleased) Plexamp version.
when is the next version planned to be released?
Plexamp is a “skunk works” project, which is being worked on after hours.
As such, it doesn’t have any hard release cycles.
Basically it gets a public release when it is deemed sufficiently stable.
