I have a Raspberry Pi 4 with RoPieeXL installed and a USB DAC plugged into it. This was my Roon setup. I would like to try a headless Plexamp setup with the same hardware. What OS should I install? Any turnkey or simple solution available ? Thanks for your time.

Is it possible that USB audio is not supported but only HiFiBerry HAT and HDMI?
I’m using an external USB DAC. My Mac’s Plexamp can see and select the Pi player, but I have no sound.
You have to configure the OS to use the DAC, which one do you have, and how is it connected?
I have installed the Raspberry Pi OS Lite on an headless system, plugged via ethernet with a USB Grace Design SDAC in one of the USB 3 port of the pi. Is there a way to configure this without connecting a monitor, mouse and keyboard? Thanks for the help.
