How to share a playlist

Hi all

I run plex on my NAS - I am the main account holder. My friend has access to my Plex music library (I’ve shared the library with him), and he has created some really cool play lists. BUT - I cannot see or use his playlists, and he can’t share them with me.

Is there a way to create a playlist. eg “Party Mix”, and share it amongst the users who have access to the same library???

Obviously the formal Plex help is of little to zero help…

Only the server owner can grant access to anything.

Thank you for the feedback. The software version on my NAS is slightly older (1.19.0.6244), and the NAS’ app manager reports that as the latest version. I guess they’re just slower with their roll-outs. It is an Asustor AS302-T NAS just as a matter of interest.

You can download the current version here and manually install. https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/#plex-media-server ( looks like you want the Intel 32bit version for the model you have.

Thanks for the help - downloaded the latest version and installed it. I can now see the “Grant Access” menu item.
