I’m looking for advice on how to share home videos via plex. I currently do that for my wife and kids. But I’m thinking of others - friends, grandparents and so on. I don’t want to give them access to everything on my server. Probably not even every home video. I’ve never been happy with youtube - the private/unlisted settings are clunky when it comes to sharing. Even though I’m sure the rest of the world doesn’t want to see my home videos, I don’t like it that some random person could be watching videos of my kids. I’d like to be able to put a video into a certain folder on plex and it would be shared “internally” with my wife and kids and also with the friends and grandparents that we want to see it. How do others handle this?
