Hi! I’m trying to whitelist some music for my kids by genre. Is there a way to do this? The only “sharing” option I’m seeing is by “label” and I can’t even find that in the artist edit settings.
Any help would be appreciated.
You can restrict shares by (age) rating or Labels - there’s no option to restrict a share using Genres.
The Label tag can be found under Sharing when editing an item.
Once you have set your first Label, there’ll also be an option to filter by label.
You can mass-edit your files, e.g. to add a Label by selecting multiple items and then clicking Edit.
Thanks, @tom80H. I appreciate the help. I found that my issue was I was trying to share “artist”. Turns out that “Labels” field only exists on Albums. Artists don’t have it. I was able to share.
I’d like to request a feature to share genres. Where would I go about doing that?
You can use the #general:feature-suggestions category
Seems there actually is a feature suggestion – however it appears that got little attention over the last few years
