Till this functionality is added back in you have to use a browser https://app.plex.tv/web .
Right so missing from the new app, thanks. Pretty major oversight for “Live TV” functionality.
Still appears to be an issue with the latest 2025.18.0 on android.
Still an issue with 2025.19.0. Are there any plans to fix this?
I have been told it is on the list of fixes. No ETA given. That list is quite large now so I would expect by ( US Drinking Age) it could be fixed.
But how large is it really? Does anyone actually know? ![]()
It would be helpful to everyone in the Plex community if Plex created a “Bug” Thread for the new (and/or existing apps and server) thread - like they already have for Updates.
The app/server updates are helpful tools for users, but they only tell us what has been fixed or changed, not what existing bugs are being worked on fixing fire the (next?) build.
New threads for server/app fixes that are currently in the pipeline, or on their to-dos for each app would be a great start IMO at building back and dialing back user frustrations.
Does anyone what to guess how many jelly beans are in the jar?
I could image there would a priority list, which would change regularly due to unforeseen conflicts. As many don’t appreciate there are layers to fixes / Releases. That being said, there has been urgent fixes in the past for critical issues.
Internal testing could be a (Month or more)
Focus Group testers (2 Weeks or more)
Beta Release.
As for Jelly Beansover all Supported Plex Devices could be Hundreds at present or any one time, so the Jar is not a fixed Volume.
So for you sweet tooths aching for some Coloured Gulcose Beans, it’s going to be… ![]()
Absolutely, 100% agree with you. On an the issues that been effect a timeline, feature addition removal.
I was a protect manager at a couple major computer/chip companies for years…
I’m not asking for their complete development list, but it wouldn’t beyond expectations to place the 5-8 they are working on in a closed thread.
At the issues get resolved, a new post is created. A new bug/feature is deemed a priority, they add it to a post as another thing that has been discovered, verified and in the cycle of getting fixed
Right now, people are repeating the same or skins issues over and over. No one knows they are being addressed - or ignored and it’s leading to a lot of frustration.
With regards to jelly beans - that was 100% a joke and I would have placed my bet , with regards to the Enhanced experience, somewhere between 30-50 (based purely on forum) - assuming some are not going to be addressed, and others I’m not aware of. ![]()
Agreed on a public issue tracker, even just official acknowledgement that Plex know about this issue and will get to it eventually would go a long way. I care less about when and more that the feature wasn’t intentionally removed or deprecated.
They mentioned it in the initial release, but haven’t said much since, I’ve seen bigwheel confirm it a time or two as well.
Well now it seems like it is gone on the roku app as well, I wish they would fix the issues before rolling it out to more platforms
