How will Sonic Analysis work with Artist Radio?

Will this now help pull in Artist tracks as well as Album Artist?
I have so much music in large compilation albums that do not get used in Artists Radio because it only reads from Album Artist currently.

Looking forward to seeing all that Sonic Analysis can do!
Thanks for all of the hard work!!!

If they are sonically similar, yes, this also includes things in Various Artists’ compilations so those no longer are orphaned from mixes

That’s great!!
Does it matter how the album artist field is tagged?
I changed a lot from Various Artists to other names so they could be sorted differently.

It does not care about the metadata, just the sonic qualities

And the track radios are unique to that single track vs an artist radio the average sonic qualities of all that artist’s songs (i.e. I Am The Walrus radio vs. The Beatles radio would be similar but distinctly unique)

Thanks!
Makes sense.
I can see where Track Radio would be a lot more specific than Artist Radio.
Excited to see how this works for both.

Lastly, will there be a way to “Save” Track or Artist Radio mixes for quick access to favorites?
I can see myself saying “What was that track radio mix I listened to a few weeks ago that I really liked??”

the new “Mixes For You” functionality does a bit of this, albeit automated, playback of radios still show up in your Play History in Plexamp but, the order/song selections will vary with each subsequent reload - in the interest of variety

You can also download a mix/radio in Plexamp and have it always available, which I have done for a few artists/genres/styles I want to always have around

All good stuff!
Thanks!!!
