HTML5 player with playlist

Hello again everyone,

I apologise for my last post may have potentially thrown a lot of you in the deep end.

Since I have last posted here, I have gone back to the drawing board and found a method for our project to be easier to use and manage.

What I am after now is a media player with Playlist which is an entire customisable html page (preferred) or components which can be integrated into a webpage.
Does Plex have anything of this nature?

I am running a CMS Server and found the folder where the required files are kept which is what our customers will be requiring. This is installed on Windows 2012 R2 and the existing CMS Server does not use any IIS components, so this can be used for Plex when needed

Each end user will have their own folders and will be made unique by their own URL. For example;
server address:8080/uniquefolderID/ which then brings up subfolders, etc.

Can I;

  • Host the Plex Media server on the same server which has the CMS Server, using IIS? And create unique URLs to cater for each end user?

  • Purchase a commercial license to cater for large amounts of users?

  • Configure the Playlist to automatically refresh periodically to automatically update the list or when new files appear?

The following would be a great benefit if it can be employed;
Being a CCTV system, the video files have almost identical filenames for all camera inputs with the exception of Camera ID numbers, is there an almagamation or Mux feature in the Playlist and player which allows for all camera footages to appear on one player screen?
While at the same time, if 1 camera screen is clicked on, then that can take up the whole Player screen.

The video Files are MP4, however can be configured to be gre files, which i’d rather not, for the benefits of customers who may need to download evidence.

Thank you in advance,
Michael

In what way?

Can the main important requirements be achieved? I am not worried about multi-view. If the feature is there, then that is no issue
