HTPC doesn't inhibit screensaver / blanking on Linux

Been using HTPC from Flatpak, and it doesn’t inhibit the screen from blanking.

I am using Fedora 36 with GNOME. I manually triggered org.freedesktop.Screensaver’s inhibit function, and it works as expected. I verified that applications can inhibit the Screen Blank / sleep by running a video in SMPlayer, which kept the screens awake as expected.

HTPC does do this inhibit. Perhaps there is something in flatpak which is breaking this.

Is HTPC open source like previous apps?

If so I would be happy to dig into the source, maybe create a PR for a fix.

Otherwise let me know if you need testing.

i have the same problem with the not HTPC Version from Install plex-desktop on Linux | Snap Store on MintLinux.

The BlankScreen is not disabled on Playing Movie in fullscreen.

that’s really bad.

Duplicates Linux Desktop (snap) doesn't inherit a screensaver while playing media
