Ubuntu 24.04 with fresh snap Plex-HTPC install and loss of main screen after screen-lock

After Plex HTPC has been idle for a period of time and the Plex screensaver/screen lock activates:

  1. The screen displays the screensaver (as expected)

  2. User logs back in and continues the playback

  3. Once the playback completes, I am unable to move to the next episode or go back to the main menu - a blank screen is displayed instead.

  4. The application appears to be running but the UI is not displayed

  5. Navigation is impossible - no menus, buttons, or interface elements are visible

  6. Only option is to force quit and restart the application

This is happening pretty reliably on Ubuntu 24.04 and snap package, I was able to reproduce it on 3 different machines with Ubuntu 24.04.
