http://localhost:32400/clients?X-Plex-Token=XXXXXXXXX not showing Samsung TV App

Not sure where to post this question. I am automating my home using Home Assistant which allows me to trigger actions when Plex clients pause/play. The plex component uses the python plexapi to get a list of clients from the http://localhost:32400/clients?X-Plex-Token=XXXXXXXXX URL. This seems to work fine, however that list does not include my Samsung TV Plex App.

Plex seems to know about that client, because it shows up in the Web front end under Status->Now Playing

So my question is, is there any way to programmatically get “all” clients currently streaming from my PMS? I am running PMS Version 1.1.4.2757

Thanks!

If you are referring to the Plex for Samsung app for models up to 2015, it would not show because the Plex Companion functionality is not supported. Lots of forum topics on the subject were raised and explanation given - forum being

If it is the official Plex for Smart TV app which covers Samsung TV Models 2016 onwards, then I would expect it to show up
