Plex Server Clients List

Server Version#:1.16.4.1469-6d5612c2f
Player Version#: 1.0.0.792-d4adb056
when i go to my server http://192.168.0.100:32400/clients, the new Plex players only show up if they are on the home page. If I click on any other part such a setting or library item, the player listing disappears from the /clients list.

Also they are listed as

<Server name=“Dev1” host=“192.168.0.100” address=“192.168.0.100” port=“32400” …

The host and address are those of the server, so is the port number. They .actual player is running on 192.168.0.80

Is this a bug or by design?

This is by design.

If you wish to see all the clients, it is better to look at Settings - Authorized Devices

Is there a way to get that using a GET or POST command through a URL?

Yes there is. It’s done by accessing Plex.tv (supplying your X-Plex-token (PlexOnlineToken) to the URL.

I don’t reference it every day so will need go look this up

https://plex.tv/devices.xml?X-Plex-Token=YOURTOKEN
