HTTP.Request SSL Error

I am trying to use HTTP.Request on a https page but I am getting an ssl error in the logs. Anyone know how to get past this problem? I tried just renaming to http://www.arconaitv.me/fg/ but no luck, I just get redirected back to https. Any help is appreciated.

Hi!
I ran into this issue a few times now. It’s got something to do with SSL/TLS, openssl and/or Python. I have not found a real solution yet, but using a web proxy I got some stuff to work just fine. I also wrote a channel for Arconai TV. You can find it here: https://github.com/piplongrun/arconaitv.bundle

@“Pip Longrun” Thanks, no need for me to write this then.

@“Pip Longrun” Well, all of the titles show on roku but none will play. Works just fine on android and on my pc. Looks as if it has something to do with the indirect function. Log shows no route to the two functions. Not sure how to add a route to the indirect, I would figure the @indirect would work.

I guess it’s just my stupid roku, tried just using an m3u8 link from arconaitv while it was still active but roku won’t play and everything else will. Seems like a correct format for Roku, vlc shows it is h264. No clue.

Since I can’t find any other post anywhere regarding this channel, I’m gonna necro here…

Would it be possible to modify longrun’s code to include Arconai’s live tv channels? I tried looking at it myself but sadly I don’t know enough to expand it :frowning:

@r3gnr8r I made a plugin for arconaitv with the cable channels included, and figured out how to get it to work on Roku. The problem with the cable channels are that they freeze and crash my Roku. Not sure why, but the other live streams work fine. Ended up removing the cable channels. Seems to be restreaming of ustvnow because when a channel on ustvnow went down so did arconai’s.

I tried addin the live streams as well, but when I discovered they’re only 240p I stopped looking into it. It’s just too painful to watch 204p streams on a big screen :expressionless:
