HW 4K transcoding

Hello,

I finally have HW transcoding working on my GPU.

However, it doesn’t work on 4k files.

Is there some additional setting needed for this, or is it possible to disable transcoding just for 4k movies?

Log files are needed.

Cannot diagnose without them (DEBUG ON - VERBOSE OFF - recreate failure - Download & Attach logs ZIP file)

  1. for 4k/hevc transcoding you need an intel 7000 series or newer with 600 series integrated gpu, or nvidia 1050 or newer
  2. no it is currently not possible to disable transcoding just for 4k. the best solution for you is to keep your 4k content separated in different movie library and do not share the 4k library with non-4k users.

Hiya,

Its a e2286G processor with a intel® UHD Graphics P630 gpu.

I was hoping this would be ok for 4k hw transcoding…

720/1080 hw transcoding works just fine.
