a few weeks ago I noticed that my plex server stopped using HW to encode. It will Decode but not encode. I have a P2000 on an Unraid server. It ran perfect for a year and then i updated all my dockers and all of sudden my cpu usage went high and i noticed the HW encode online. ive attached a photo of what I see… any advice on this?
Noticing the same thing here, only seeing HW decodes. Docker install here as well.
Update, looks like this changed a bit ago: “Starting with Plex Media Server v1.20.2, driver version 450.66 or newer is required for NVIDIA GPU usage.”
Don’t recall ever seeing it on the release notes for a new version, but after updating nvidia drivers I’m seeing encodes work again.
