I am confused about PLEX, I like it to be better

very sorry! I use translation software.

I have questions about the PLEX and EMBY tests:

EMBY is stronger than PLEX in 4K compatibility? Is my usage method incorrect?

=========================================================== ======
mate20X plex client - player trueHD has this option but it is gray, DTS is also gray, but after playing the DTS track, it becomes optional in the options.

trueHD copyright fee without adding support?

Why do I buy a member? Not because it has a podcast, not because it has a news channel. But because I want PLEX to use my media resources in a unified, enjoyable, smooth, and beautiful way.

Although my device doesn’t natively support 4K, including trueHD audio, I just want it to play. It can be played like EMBY. I don’t know how EMBY is implemented. Can PLEX do it?

I hope that the PLEX player will become very powerful in the future, including a variety of useful features, and will not be using a third-party player.

Thank you!

to conclude> you can watch on your phone with emby, but not with plex?

Yes, I really like PLEX! I am willing to buy a more powerful client of PLEX. I don’t understand why EMBY can watch, but PLEX can’t watch it! In addition, is it possible to increase the options for local subtitles!

The fact is that both Emby and Plex have things that they do and do not do well. I have a few video files that, in my setup, play fine in Plex and not in Emby and there are a few others that play fine in Emby and not in Plex. There seems to be no clear pattern as to what could be the cause and the developers just keep asking for more info rather than fixing the problem, possibly because they cannot come close enough to my setup to duplicate the problem.

It is impossible for any set of developers to duplicate every possible setup or even to duplicate the majority of setups. All they can do is assure that it works for every test setup they have and make those test setups a broad as possible and try to guess what differences might be introduced by setups that they cannot exactly duplicate and design to handle those as well.

Design, development and testing is not easy even for a limited group of setups and for a humongous set of variables like ā€œall possible home entertainment setupsā€ it is nearly impossible.

I disagree with a lot of what Plex and Emby do as far as what they choose to work on or add to the system but the fact that they make it work for most setups is almost magical.

The fact that the two systems do not do all the same things well is a good argument for running both if at all possible.
