I have an HDHomeRun PRIME digital cable tv tuner with a cable card, it has been working fine for several yes however today all of a sudden, plex can’t find it. when I try to play a tv station, I get the following error message:
Could not tune channel. Please check your tuner or antenna.
I know the digital tuner is working because I can watch tv using the HDHomerun software…
I deleted the DVR and reinstalled it and i uninstalled and reinstalled the plex media server. i still get the same error message. I’m at a loss as to what to try next.
The problem appears to not be with your tuner, but with your J: filesystem where you have your transcoder temp directory defined. Examples:

Is your J: drive local to your Plex server, or a network file system? Note that Plex doesn’t recommend that your transcoder be placed on a networked file system. If not, then you may have a physical issue with your J: drive.
