Digital tv tuner stopped working

I have an HDHomeRun PRIME digital cable tv tuner with a cable card, it has been working fine for several yes however today all of a sudden, plex can’t find it. when I try to play a tv station, I get the following error message:

Could not tune channel. Please check your tuner or antenna.

I know the digital tuner is working because I can watch tv using the HDHomerun software…

I deleted the DVR and reinstalled it and i uninstalled and reinstalled the plex media server. i still get the same error message. I’m at a loss as to what to try next.
