I paid for a Plex pass after seeing the shows a friend was able to watch on theirs. I purchase it and download the apps and sign in on my iPhone and Amazon fire stick, and while I can see a whole selection of movies and shows on Safari, I can’t see anything on the apps. I’m going to have to cancel if I can’t figure it out, but I hope I don’t have to because I was excited to use it. I don’t want to use it to display my own media at all- just simple tv watching.
You don’t have a server connected to your plex account, nor do you have a server shared with you.
Because of this, you can only see the free, ad-supported movies and tv shows which are on offer from Plex.tv directly.
