Subscribed and getting no benefits :frowning:

You’re going to need to provide some specifics about your setup.

How is your server setup? Things like what OS and version would be useful. Maybe the network setup (wireless\wired) as well.

How are your movie\tv show libraries setup? How are your folders setup and how is your media named as well as how you configured your movie or tv show libraries. Screenshots can be useful here.

Was this working previously and now it’s not or is this your first setup? Since your forum account is only minutes old I’m guessing new setup but maybe not…

Providing these details will help the community and Plex support help you out with your situation.

iOS 14.7.1 (latest as I mentioned in my post)
I didn’t change any setting at all. I’m not sure what server you are talking about. Can you give me the steps for it.
I simply downloaded the app from the store, subscribed monthly option.
But unfortunately can’t see anything in my iOS, smart Tv even laptop.
Will attach some screenshots hope it helps.

Also I tried both wifi and 4G options. All same nothing I can see except music !

As per the very first reponse… Plex Pass isn’t giving you access to additional media. Plex is generally a media server to host your own media. The Plex Pass will give you some premium features.

If you’re just looking for the free online media sources that are available to all Plex users… best check out your account settings. It appears you have disabled some of those…

Thanks for your response but I recall PLEX is where all movies are there (similar to Netflix) that’s why I subscribed. Am I missing or my confusing with something else ?!
I’m attaching the setting from the link you sent !
Only music options is there :frowning:

It does seem so… so lets see if we can help clear it up for you.

Plex is not the same as Netflix or Hulu or HBO Max or PlutoTV. It’s not a streaming content provider but a personal media center for your own digital media\video files.

So the reason I asked about the “server” is that Plex works, primarily, as a two part software system so you can watch your personal digital media (movies and tv shows) that you have, for example, ripped from DVD or Bluray. The typical setup of Plex is that you would setup the Plex Server software in your home (on a PC for example) where those digital video files are kept and then you’d use your iOS app (or Roku, or Android or SmartTV, etc) to browse and playback your personal digital media files from that PC to your iOS app.

Plex also has some free streaming content to go along with your personal video files and that’s what @tom80H provided links about. It’s similar to other free “TV streaming” where you browse channels and watch what’s being played back on those channels (not on-demand like Netflix).

To be honest, most people don’t use Plex for the free streaming channels as there are other services that are dedicated to doing that and they generally do it better. Plex is first, and foremost, for your own digital media library - like hosting your own personal Netflix.

The Plex Pass purchase - or any Plex purchase - is more about additional features and functionality for that personal media library, not for streaming media content. If that was your expectation then you’ll want to request a refund. You can use most of Plex’s features - including the free streaming channels - without any costs.

Does that help clear things up a bit? For a lot more detail, here’s a good article with an overview and guide to setting up Plex.

Edit: My other guess is that you may have been looking for some of those services that provide content that isn’t entirely legitimate… I’m not going to name them here but it would be easy to confuse Plex and those other options just reading app descriptions in the iOS app catalog.

Our free streaming services (“Movies & Shows”, “Live TV on Plex”, Podcasts, Web Shows) are not available in some countries due to local restrictions and regulations regarding content in those countries. Looking at your Plex account, @mohd0904, it appears that you’re located in one of those affected countries, so those services are not available to you. Apologies for the confusion.

You can find the specific countries listed in our Frequently Asked Questions - Video on Demand | Plex Support article (or comparable articles for the other services).

To be very clear, though: A Plex Pass subscription has never changed the content available from our free services. It also doesn’t remove advertising from them.
