Server Version#: 1.16.6.1592 Player Version#: When I add a movie file to Plex, sometimes it gathers the wrong information and I have to change it manually. Anytime the year is wrong, I cannot change it. I can only delete the wrong year and leave it blank.

You need to put in the entire date, not just the year, in YYYY-MM-DD format or it will not save. If you do not know the month or day of release, just put in something like 1974-01-01 for January 1, 1974 [Screen Shot 2020-01-31 at 11.39.56 AM]
