A TV show keeps reappearing on my Continue Watching list. I’ve never actually watched this episode of this show. And no matter how I clear it (either by marking it as played or unplayed or by clicking “Remove from Continue Watching list” it keeps coming back.
Is this an Unraid/docker issue with directories or something? I had other problems recently where posters wouldn’t transcode and libraries kept disappearing. I had heard that running PMS in docker on unraid was supposed to be really simple, so this can’t be a common issue.
You might have a Plex player somewhere, either in a TV, a set top box, or in a web browser tab, where this episode is still open and in perpetual pause mode.
You need to check all devices and web browsers where you may have logged into your Plex user account.
When using the web app, make sure to use the to end playback, and not just closing the browser window.
You might want to set “Terminate Sessions Paused for Longer Than” to ~90 minutes. You can find that in the server settings under Network.
I’d also verify the DLNA setting in Plex. You rather want to disable it, if it’s not absolutely necessary.
If what otto says does not work then try this. I can see from your screenshot that the episode has a small yellow watch indicator line, meaning its partially watched. This is most likely why it keeps coming back.
Try marking the episode as watched (and then unwatched if you want to set it back). That should remove the yellow watch indicator. After that “Remove from Continue Watching list” and see if that finally solves it. Good luck.
@OttoKerner I’ll make that change for stopping streams once someone has paused for longer than a given timeout. What does the DLNA setting do in this context? Thanks for the reply.

… which all states user whiterook6 using the client device Firefox updated the play state for the item. Have you tried nuking all the browser cache / cookies etc… The device IP is 192.168.1.242 in case that helps identify an open browser on a specific device.
