I can't remove pending friend requests due to error, can someone help?

Someone sent me an invite but I couldn’t accept it because it just kept saying “there was a problem accepting this invite” so I sent them a friend request which I they never accepted and I can’t delete because it keeps saying “There was a problem cancelling this invite”.

So now I am left with a request under invites and one under pending that I can’t get rid off, can anyone advise how I can delete these requests?

Go to Plex.tv. You can clear it from there

Sorry if I am being dense but I’ve gone to plex.tv and signed in and can’t see anywhere to manage users and if I do launch and then manage users in there that’s where I am getting the original issue.

My apologies. The administrative page was removed from Plex.tv. I had forgotten that. Settings - Users - Friends is where you see your existing and pending users.

What happens when you click the gray X in the upper right corner of the box surrounding their name? Can you capture it (screen shot)? After having created it again, may I have the log files (Settings - Server - Help - Download Logs)? It will show me the error return from Plex.tv

Thanks for replying so quick here is the screenshots when I try to remove the requests and the logs.

Thanks. I can’t find any errors but it may be due to the amount of activity and relatively short duration of your logs (much streaming activity).

I’ve spoken with the team.

They would like two steps:

  1. contact the user and ask to cancel or accept the invitation to bring it active. From there, you can make changes and/or re-invite / revoke.
  2. If the above fails, they will see what it shows on their end from the timestamp of the attempt. Having your server as quiet as possible during that time would help.
