I need to resend a friend request to my brother, I sent him one a long time ago and he never accepted it and no longer has the email. I went to Settings > Manage Library Access > Grant Library Access and entered his email. When I entered his email I got the message “This user is already invited.” So I clicked on View All Friends > Requests and saw the people I invited who never accepted the invitation so I clicked on the “x” to the right of their email addresses and all were removed except my brother’s and no matter how many times I click the “x” it remains. I logged out of Plex and back in and got the same result. Is there a way to resend the invite without cancelling his invite? Or how can I cancel his existing one so I can send a new one?
Did he ever get around to create a plex.tv account?

He did. I was with him 2 days ago and helped him create it. He can sign in and watch the free Plex stuff.
Then he should be able to see your invitation in the web app https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/friends
(He has to log in using his own plex.tv credentials)

I make a new email for anyone that I share with.
I just send myself the invitation and give them the id and pw to log in.
Some of the people I share with are older and not very tech savvy.
I can pin items that may be hidden in the “MORE >” section
Move, remove or change anything I need to so all they have to do is turn it on and use it without me having to spend an hour on the phone trying to explain it.

I am having the same issue where I click the X in Requests Sent and it doesnt delete. I have 3 in there. The odd thing is 2 of them were users already and could successfully use the service. But once in there and attempting to clear these out it then removed these 2 from my users list. I only discovered this issue after trying to add a new user and they got the email, accepted it, but were not added to my user list and they are saying they dont have access to my server. So I am not able to resend the request to try again.
Is there a solution to this issue to somehow manually clear out the requests?
See if their names appear after you click on the button “Grant library access” in here https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/manage-library-access
If the Plex account already exists, there is no need to use the link in the email.
Let them log into their user account at plex.tv, then send them to https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/friends and look out for open invitations.
